Crusaders Ladies XV Vs Felixstowe Honeybadgers
19 Strong Amazing Ladies and a handful of (very loud)
supporters made their way up the A140 to Hethersett.
After a strong kick off our Honeybadgers took the ball
straight in to the oppositions half and started the game
strong. The Crusaders were very strong in their
defensive line but eventually after what seemed a long
time our powerhouse @okokbeth (Betty) got us off the
mark! After the restart it was a strong contention as to
whom would score next! The Crusaders were a fantastic
strong opponent with some great steals and turnovers!
Soon though our Fly half @imieesmith ran her little legs
off to score our second try of the game and bought
home the conversion to take us 12-0 up and in to half
time! As we started the second half The Crusaders came
out strong and scored their first try. We saw some
inures and hard knocks but our defensive game was
strong! With continued back and forth both teams
working incredibly hard in their attacking but also
defensive game!! Felixstowe's straight line defense was
strong with sometimes the opposition struggling to make
yards! Our 3rd try came from @taztattoo_. The
Crusaders worked hard to bring the scoreline back to
17-10 but our vice captain (who had been keeping an
ace up her sleeve) bought her kicking game to the table
and nailed our fourth try resulting in a 22-10 win.

your future games.
Well done to our Honeybadgers who all played their part
today and put all their hard work from training in to
practice resulting in the first win of the season. Most of
these ladies only started playing within the last year or
so and have come so far with the ongoing support of our
coaching and conditioning team.
All our ladies play with their heart and soul and leave
everything on the pitch. We are so proud of them.
