In the upcoming season, the RFU local delivery team will be organising 4 senior team festivals. The inaugural festival was run in February 2017 at Colchester, 4 teams attended with over 70 players participating. The festivals are aimed at participation and encouraging players back into or to join the game of rugby union. They could be an ideal opportunity for new/returning players and those transition from colts to senior rugby. The Festivals will be run as a round robin with games lasting 30 minutes with no kicking to increase ball in play time.

If you would like to enter a team but feel that you can't get 15, not to worry as these events will be very flexible, we would look to merge you with another group of players to create a Baa Baas or to play with another team, similar if there is a lack of front row.

The festival will be for :-
· Returning players
· New players
· Colts transitioning
· Players who are unavailable on Weekends
· 2s and 3s players
· No 1st XV players

The dates, venues and times for the events are -
· 15th November at Ipswich YM 7:30 Kick Off
· 7th February at Colchester 7:30 Kick Off
· 7th March at Ipswich YM 7:30 Kick Off
