At Felixstowe Rugby Club, our team is more than players—it’s the volunteers behind every try, tackle, and win.

The Power of Volunteers
Whether it's coaching our youth teams, managing logistics on match day, organising events, or simply lending a hand when it's needed most, our volunteers play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the club. Their contribution is invaluable, but what truly sets them apart is the heart and passion they bring to every task, no matter how big or small.

Volunteering at Felixstowe Rugby Club isn’t just about fulfilling duties – it’s about building a community, sharing in the love of the game, and fostering a positive environment where both children and adults can grow, learn, and thrive.

Meet Our Volunteer Team
We’re fortunate to have an incredible group of volunteers, from parents and former players to dedicated supporters. People like Gareth, Steve, Gail, Mark, Liam, Lee, Jonny and Andy & Dom, who go above and beyond as coaches, helping our players develop both on and off the field. Their commitment is a reminder of what it means to truly be part of the Felixstowe Rugby family.

Each of these individuals contributes in their own unique way, helping to create a club that’s welcoming, supportive, and thriving. But we need more hands to ensure our club continues to grow and meet the needs of our players, both young and old.

Why We Need Your Support
Like all grassroots clubs, Felixstowe Rugby Club relies on volunteers to keep everything running smoothly. Without them, we simply wouldn’t be able to provide the high-quality experience that our players deserve. But as the club grows, so too does our need for more helping hands.

We’re calling on parents, family members, and supporters to consider getting involved. Whether you have an hour a week or a few hours a month to spare, your contribution can make a world of difference. From helping out with administration to assisting on match days or offering specialist skills like photography, social media management, or first aid – there’s a role for everyone.

Volunteering at Felixstowe Rugby Club isn’t just about giving – it’s also incredibly rewarding. By getting involved, you’ll:

  • Make a real difference: Every hour of your time directly impacts the success of the club.
  • Meet new people: Being part of our volunteer team is a great way to make new friends and connect with other rugby lovers in the community.
  • Be a role model: By giving your time, you’re setting a fantastic example for our young players about the importance of teamwork, commitment, and community spirit.
  • Get fit: If you take on a more active coaching role, it’s a fantastic way to keep you moving.

How You Can Get Involved
Whether you’re a parent watching your child play, a supporter of local rugby, or simply someone who wants to give back to the community, we’d love to have you join our volunteer team. No experience is required – just a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
